Fundraising and Grants

We have been chatting with other families that are also having fundraisers and trying to get some pointers. This next week we will have a yard sale and all proceeds will go towards some of the agency fees. There are also Grants available but we can not apply for these until we have a final homestudy and or immigration approval. Adoption fees especially internationally can add up quickly. It does matter how much you save, things happen and fees change daily. For the last several years we have delayed this adoption and each year agency fees rise, fees for immigration and fingerprints also have increased. We pray alot and we feel God will guide us through our adoption. The last couple of nights I had to hand my worries to God on raising these funds. Seldom we buy gifts for one another, but we know in our hearts this little girl is waiting for a Father and Mother to love and hold her. Our love is strong for the Lord, our marriage and our children.
