Emotions of our adoption

Spend most of the day calling the FBI to check on our fingerprint clearance. We were told it would be about 13 weeks to complete, so far it has been exactly one month. Nine weeks to go. Next week we file for our I800A and again more fingerprinting this time for HomeLand Security. The only time I had been printed was for adopting and shortly after giving birth. What a strange feeling knowing your life is in your fingers, the simple lines on one's thumb. I downloaded the form to process and also ordered another on line, what the heck. Homestudy complete added on the Hague Seals, all changes have been complete. So within one week it will be sent to Dallas to review. We should hear within two weeks of being fingerprinted again, hopefully for the last time. God let these next couple of weeks pass quickly and we are approved to proceed with our dossier.

Once FBI Clearance is in hand, I800A is approved our DOSSIER IS COMPLETE........

So by August we should be able to submit to MOJ to obtain our first schedule trip to meet our girls. This will take about a month afterwards to travel so Mid-September or October FIRST TRIP..

First trip we will be there 14 days total in all. 7 Days in one city and 7 Days in the other meeting each girl. They both live in opposite areas of Bulgaria. Each within 3 hours of Sofia, go forward and then return to go back. Much like the Two Step Dance. While in Bulgaria we will proceed in filing for a court hearing to seek custody and be offically the parents of our new daughters.

If all goes well we are hoping to travel by Christmas to bring our girls Ava-Marya & Christiana-Denise home, please pray for us.
