Saturday we received our I800 Approval this gives us the approval to adopt both Ava-Marya & Sarah-Christiana. We didn't expect to find it sitting in the mailbox so soon. We had figured it would be another two weeks before we thought it would arrive. So it was a record 6 weeks from start to finish. Hopefully today our social worker will have the two necessary forms notarized and ready for us to pick up. I will be sending Carla our Social Worker in Iowa copies of all our documents for her final review before notarizing and appostilling everything. Once this is done she will scan all our documents to translate into Bulgarian for our Attorney to carry to the MOJ to review. At this point they will approve our family and set a travel date for our first official visit with each girl. Both girls are in separate regions so our trip will be 2 weeks in all. 5 days with each girl visiting. While there we fill out the necessary forms for our attorney to proceed in court for the adoption of both girls. Hoping our first trip will be about October or early November. Keep your fingers cross.
