This has been such a busy week. My friend, my younger sister Toni is ill once again. This past years she has been with infection after infection in her Kidneys. Currently we are trying to find away to get her to the US for treatment and surgery. Please I ask everyone reading in their hearts to pray for her. Antonia is a beautiful young woman and needs this surgery I ask God for his guidance and help in making this happen quickly.
Chrissie is getting her leg braces on this week and will begin therapy using them. She will be also fitted for a new growth wheelchair to transport her in. Also in a few days Chrissie will finish up her evaluations for her IEP at school. The following week a visit to the Urologist, Neuro-surg, and Neurologist. So Chrissie's healthcare is being completed. I forgot to mention we had to redo all of her shots for school as well as the other children.
Still trying to figure out away to get the funds to adopt another little one. We are hoping to start the process in the next few months which should take us another year to complete. We really like little Roland and we are reviewing his profile to see if we are a good match.
The process to adopt will cost $13,000 for agency, $1500 Homestudy, USCIS $900 & Visa $404, Trip One Airline $1500, hotels another $600 & food $100 Trip two Airlines $4500 another $600 Hotels and food $300 Dossier preparation and medical $1,000 (GRAND TOTAL $23,504).
With next years tax-return we should be half way there to adopt.
So we will be needing at least $10,000 to raise and save..
