New Photos of the kids

Daily they work with Charlie in therapy in helping her to strenghten her legs. Her muscles are very weak due to malnutrion.Charlie needs a special high calorie diet and her daily meds to keep her alive.

Little Zach just started to learn how to walk at age three and a half years. Zach is very malnutrious and needs the extra calories and meds to keephim healthy.  This photo is of him in therapy helping him to walk. Zach weighs less than his younger sister Charlie.  They are both  way under weight and need a high calorie diet. Special diets and formulas are not available for them to thrive and gain weight.

Unfornuately not all brothers and sisters are able to be adopted together.  And many times if both children are unhealthy like Zach and Charlie they are adopted separately.  This is a very tough decision but it happens frequently.

Right now both Zach and Charlie are able to spend their days together. And both are able to share their love with each other. Our family could could not imagine what would happen if own children were separated and them seeing these two precious children.  We knew in our hearts we had to keep them together and receive the care they needed.

Day after day Charlie and Zach watch families come to visit their children. As the other children yell out to their  mommas and poppas they watch from afar.  Daily they both waited for a visitor to spend some time with them. But no one showed or noone cared to visit. Place yourself in this child's life.  Look in her eyes she deserves to be love also.

Yes these little guy wants a momma to hold him anda poppa to play ball with him. It is hard to understand if you are labeled with a dieases or illness chances are slim if a family will adopt both children. Children with CF live a very painful live and many of them die during their early years without the necessary medications and treatments.  Each child will need several treatments a day  of therapy and the meds to keep them breath.  Both children have been in and out of the hospital for their illnesses and are sick regularly.  With proper medical care their live quality will be greatly affected and they will thrive.  But most of all they will receive the love of a poppa and a momma daily.
