So Hoping next we can finish up preparing the last of the documents and drive to Baton Rouge for appostilles. There will be an adopting family traveling at this time so we will ask them to hand carry our dossier directly to our attorney. This will save us alot of time and funds.. Shipping documents can cost as much as $300.00 or so. Last year we had to send two pieces of paperwork which cost $170.00 through FEDEX. So when you see a FEDEX truck think of the money that they make on shipping documents alone.
Once in Bulgaria our attorney will translate, notarize and file with MOJ for the VM to view.. Depending on the VM schedule we should hear verbal something within a month or so.
Thinking maybe first trip will be in July or early August.. Again just thinking and hoping..
We are just praying for a court date before christmas. All the court documents after our adoption will not be ready until after the first of the year. This makes us not be able to pick up the children until after February. There is a little paperwork between first and second trip so this will give us time to prepare the final touches on their room and purchase them some clothes.
This weekend I was able to find some sock monkey pictures for our little guy Zach's room.
And I have started on making him a sock monkey bed set.
Little Braska we are doing her bedding in Ladybugs.
I can not wait to share what all I made for the both of the children.
With all the clothes and little dresses left from Chrissie she will have a bunch of larger size clothes.
Just needing to mainly to buy for Zack but not sure just how big he is or Braska is yet..
Oh how I can not wait for our first trip to see and hold the children.
From the information we received both children are very small in size.
