Updates

We are currently working on an additional document to be notarized this weekend and off  to the State's Capital for the Secretary of the State's Office to place on our State's Apostille Seal. This document will be added in with our Dossier and be translated.  Hoping to have our Dossier submitted the first week in July and then the wait begins.  Next we will receive our Verbal Referral and then our Written Referral. Once our
Written Referral is given we should receive a travel date a few weeks to follow.  So praying in about 6 weeks to 8 weeks we will be in Bulgaria and will be holding our little ones. Thinking if all goes well we should travel in September.  With our adoption with Chrissie we travel during October and the weather was rainy &cold in Sofia and the following day we had snow.  As we drove the next day the weather had warmed up and it was actually very nice.  Many days I would walk the city of Vrasta and view all the beautiful mountains that surrounded our daughter's orphanage.  Hard to believe this was two years ago and now we are once again planning our first trip.

I can not tell you in words how much we look forward in holding our little ones.  It has been 8 months a week and a few days since we committed to our children and it will be right at 10 months when we finally get to hold them in our arms. I vision over and over in my mind how it will feel just to step on the plane and finally walk in the doors of their orphanage.  Butterflies fill my stomach each day knowing it is not much longer now.

As we have been preparing for their arrival we have arranged, built things, and made little clothes for the both of them.  Not quiet sure how big the both of them are we are told both are quiet small for their ages. with Braska turning 3 years and Zack now 4 years we are making them things that would fit their ages so when they arrive they should fit okay.  On trip one we will check shoe sizes and clothing to get some sort of an idea.  After trip one we will have court in December 2012 or January 2013. Praying for a court date in December so we can travel in March-April.  Many times when families are able  to pickup their children is about 2 months to 4 months after court. But this depends whether additional paperwork, updates on documents, holidays etc.. Seems like forever on paper but time will pass quickly and this will help give us time to raise the much needed funds to complete our adoption.  The biggest worry to any family is saving and raising the much needed funds to bring their children home. I pray each day our Lord guide us in finding ways
in raising and saving.  Again I ask for everyone's prayers and that you please share our blog with others to help assist us with the much needed funds.
