WE HAVE A TRAVEL DATE :O))))

In just 3 weeks we will be boarding a plane and heading over to see Braska and Zack.
So counting down the days now.
21 DAYS LEFT TO GO
 AND NOW COUNTING.

So for the next 3 weeks we will be planning on what items to bring to the orphanages
and packing our bags. Today we purchased our Airline Tickets and after weeks of flight
schedules we have finally decided which route to take during our flight.  Over the last 20
plus years I have learned a lot about Airlines, Agencies and Booking.  I found out with an
International flight have some time between the flights for Security Clearances and should
there be any flight delays.  Always arrive an extra day prior due to lost or mis-routed  luggage.
Never carry liquids in carry-ons, no umbrellas, no dolls in carry-on's, no Play-dough. Weight
all luggage at least three times on different scales.  When bringing a carry-on a plane be sure it
is light enough to place in over head.  Even if it is under the weigh and size check to make sure
you can lift it above your head quickly to throw it in.  When booking check to get a window seat
and also it is close enough to a restroom or back of the plane.  I learn once a flight has been boarded
especially International Flight you can move to a seat farther to the back of the plane. This way you can stretch out and sleep during your flight.  When traveling with a child you can sometimes ask the flight
attendance to see if you can be Bumped to Business Class.  Especially if a child is handicap or special needs.
I also learn you can ask for assistance with a cart to escort you through the Airport.  This also helps
move you through Security Check points easier and not having to wait behind 5,000 people.

NEVER-NEVER GET THE FISH FOR A MEAL:O((( If you want to get air sick this is a good way to get sick.  Never drink liquor while flying another good way to get ill. :0((( One reason why I try and sit near the
restrooms.  I always bring an extra blanket and a travel pillow should there be any delays at airports.
Again planes are delayed and blankets are $20 each to purchase in terminals.

When going through Security, again no umbrellas, dolls but most of all not alot of jewelry or belts with metal.
Or shoes or boots with metal.  No toothpaste, shampoo, nothing liquid.  Even if you get 3 ounces save your
self the headache.  And even if they sale water next to the security do not buy it till you are on the other side.
Because they will pour it out.  Most of the time they do not care whether you will drink it or not.  Have all
electronic equipment ready to show Security.  Have shoes that come off and on easily.  The floors are dirty
in the Airports and then having to walk on them after removing shoes sticky socks and feet.  I am one for
Purell Hand Sanitizer.  Everything is dirty in Airports so if I bring anything liquid this is it.  You can purchase
throw away toothbrushes should you need to brush, if all else fails chew gum.

When taking off Chew Gum, prior to this Benadryl on the long flight and anti nausea meds have them on hand.  If you can don't sit next to anyone if you do not have to.  When checking in at Airport make sure that
your child's seat is next to yours, some airlines seem to not think when it comes to kids and sitting arrangements.  Be careful in terminals and not lay things or bags on floors, because if you forget them and board your plane it will be to late to run back.  Have  you carry on if possible small enough to store under your seat.  Especially meds etc..

At the moment thinking of the weather, what clothes to bring and what toys for the kids.
I am bringing both Braska and Zack a winter jacket to leave with them. So maybe the caregivers
will save them for them to use when cold.  Also a blanket a piece for their beds from us. We have been
compiling a photo book to show them both during visits.  Packing snacks for them, Gold fish crackers, teddy grahams, suckers for them and other children.  So much to think about & three weeks will pass quickly :O))

Till then we will fund raise the remaining funds needed and with the nice Fall weather we will be able to
work hard in making this happen.
Again you can donate directly on our PayPal Link attached or our Chip In.

Funds that have been donated to our Thermometer we used towards Trip 1 Airline and our FSP account is being used also to help cover the remaining Airline Tickets.  Airline Tickets have double in the last two weeks so we are spending double during this first trip.  Our goal also is to carry Duffle bags full of donations.
Each bag cost $55.00 to $70.00 and you can donate to our Family's Account or PayPal so we can bring extra duffles.  The Duffles that we do not have funds for on our First Trip we will Fundraise to bring on our Second Trip.. Again I pray you help in sponsoring Braska & Zack's Adoption.  Please forward our blog to your Church and others in hopes of sponsors.. God Bless
